Mountbellew teens are revved up for Formula 1 national final

TEENAGERS attending Holy Rosary College in Mountbellew hope their Formula 1 design will have the power to take them to the world finals of the F1 in Schools competition taking place in Singapore.

The team of six Transition Year students have qualified for the F1 in Schools National Finals 2021 and will compete against nearly 100 other school teams from around the country in a virtual event in April.

The F1 in Schools Competition is an international competition where students from schools from all over the world form their own Formula 1 team.
