Daniel’s fundraising run for Pieta

IN memory of his brother, Milltown man Daniel Farragher spent the month of February running 56 miles to raise much-needed money for the suicide and self-harm prevention charity Pieta House.

Having lost his brother Paul to suicide 15 years ago, Daniel was lying awake one night scrolling through Facebook when this idea popped up on his timeline.

The 36-year-old signed up immediately to participate in the drive and, at the time of writing, he has raised over €7,000 for the cause, having completed the challenge last Sunday.
