THE Galway LGFA are expected to ratify their new senior football manager tonight (Wednesday) at a county board meeting.
Earlier this month, Timmy Rabbitt issued a statement confirming he would not be putting himself forward for the post after a two-year spell in charge.
Since then, the Galway LGFA began their hunt for a new manager and held several interviews last Sunday with prospective candidates for the vacant job.
Herald Sport understands that the Galway executive were pleased with the quality of candidates in the running and final deliberations will take place along with an eventual decision due to be made tonight (Wednesday).
