Concern at recent rise in traffic on rural roads

CONCERNS that people are becoming lackadaisical about Covid-19 restrictions have emerged as rural residents are reporting more traffic on quiet country roads.
While the 2km restriction for exercise has been increased to 5km since yesterday (Tuesday), the official advice remains for people to stay at home in a bid to curb the spread of coronavirus.
However, an increase in traffic on rural roads in recent days suggests not everyone is heeding the guidelines.
