Don’s home concert paid for a week’s Meals on Wheels
A LIVING room concert by singer-songwriter Don Stiffe has raised enough money to provide a week’s worth of free dinners to people who avail of Headford’s Meals on Wheels service.
The concert, held last month in Don’s home, was streamed online in an effort to lift local spirits. His niece Niamh Farrell linked the concert into the Solas Family Resource Centre website where people were able to make a donation towards the Meals on Wheels service operated by the charity.
