Tuam teen crash victim to be buried on Wednesday

FUNERAL arrangements have been announced for the teenager from Tuam who died in a road accident at the weekend.
Roisin Hession (16) from Cahergal, Tuam was a passenger in a car that hit a wall at around 1.15am on Sunday morning in the townland of Porridgetown, near Oughterard.
The 21-year-old male driver of the car was seriously injured and taken to University Hospital Galway.
Roisin was a student of the Mercy Secondary School in Tuam where school friends and staff have been shocked and deeply saddened by her death.
The 16-year-old is daughter of Michael and was predeceased by her mother Mary some years ago. She is survived by her stepsister Kerry, stepbrother Keenan, grandfather Martin, uncle Martin, aunts Noreen, Kathleen and Margaret, cousins and a wide circle of friends and relatives.
She will repose at Burns Funeral Home, Tuam tomorrow (Tuesday) evening from 6pm with removal at 8pm to the Cathedral of the Assumption, Tuam. Funeral Mass for Roisin will take place on Wednesday at 2pm followed by burial in Tuam Cemetery.
