A GROUP of young soldiers based in Dún Uí Mhaoilíosa (Renmore Barracks), Galway will take leading roles in a play which commemorates the Connaught Rangers mutiny of a century ago.
They will don the uniforms of the British Army in India in a production of No Comet Seen by John Kavanagh.
The play will be staged at three different venues in the second half of March as part of the Three Rings Festival.

An orchestral concert, art exhibitions, theatre nights, a show of short films, a lecture on the mutiny and other events are all part of the festival programme which was unveiled at a reception in Gather Restaurant, High Street, Tuam on Wednesday.
