Salthill go in search of back-to-back

A mouth-watering tussle is on the cards this Sunday when Claregalway and Salthill-Knocknacarra – two clubs with the potential to perhaps wrestle away Corofin’s Frank Fox stranglehold in the coming years at senior level – clash in the U20 A Football Final in Duggan Park, Ballinasloe on Saturday at 1pm.
The seasiders currently occupy the throne after finally making it third time lucky in their trilogy of meetings against Mountbellew-Moylough in the last three county finals.
Whereas Claregalway go in search of a first ever U20 A title, having never won an U21 A prior to the age change of the competition, with their only success in the grade coming in the form of a 2002 U21 B county crown.
