Bog Walk opens in Williamstown
RESIDENTS of Williamstown and its environs gathered yesterday (Tuesday Aug 21) for the official launch of the new Williamstown Way walk and cycle trail.
The impressive €120,000 project has been made possible due to an allocation from the Local Improvement Scheme (LIS), while an €12,000 was also raised among the local community towards its completion.
The new amenity has been developed by the Williamstown Development Company and Tidy Towns group in conjunction with Galway County Council. It offers two looped trails that conveniently start and finish in the village.
