Tuam all fired up for the Fleadh

CEILIS, craic agus ceol will take over Tuam all weekend as the town hosts the County Galway Fleadh for the first time in 40 years.

Some 4,000 people will visit the town during Friday, Saturday and Sunday with more than 1,600 people of all ages taking part in competitions at various venues.
Hosting the lively event will be a welcome economic boost for businesses, many of whom are bringing their own Fleadh flavour to their shop windows, offers and menus for the weekend.
