WATCH: Tuam's Brendan rehearsal in Kyiv

TUAM'S Brendan Murray has touched down in Kyiv in Ukraine and already has just finished his first rehearsal.

Brendan joined the Eurovision 2017 frenzy in Kyiv yesterday where he performed in the Arrivals of the airport when he was met by a swarm of international media and Eurovision fans.

Brendan is excited about performing the Irish entry 'Dying to Try' in the second of the semi-finals on Thursday, May 11 and is hoping to secure enough votes to guarantee him a place in the final on Saturday, May 13.

The rehearsal on the massive stage also gives a sneak preview of what the Irish entry production will look like on the big night with a giant stationary red balloon being one of the main features. It was designed by RockArt Design who worked on the Australian entry last year.
