Green light for Tuam's NCT Centre

A PROPOSED NCT Centre for Tuam has been given the planning go ahead.
The former Hi-Way Garage on the Dublin Road, prior to that the Las Vegas ballroom, is earmarked for being transformed into a new vehicle test location in Co Galway.
Local businessman Gary McTigue has been granted planning permission for the development subject to 12 conditions. The Tuam Herald understands that the NCT is still very eager to establish a new centre in the Tuam area. While the NCT hasn’t confirmed that this will be the location for the Tuam centre, it’s likely to be a strong contender now that the planning has been secured.
