Annaghdown public meeting to hear no plots left in local cemetery

AN urgent appeal has been made to all Annaghdown residents to try and ensure that at least one representative from every household attends a special meeting on Tuesday next, November 15 in Annaghdown NS at 8pm where the pressing issue of acquiring new cemetery space for the community will be discussed.
What is known as the new cemetery in Annaghdown is now full. There is concern that unless a solution can be found soon it may not be possible for some residents to find their final resting place alongside their departed family members as has been the custom locally for hundreds of years.
