Bitten by the hat bug

IF anything signals the arrival of summer in Ireland it’s the rain after the exam weather sunshine, abundance of children let loose on summer camps and the subsequent Facebook photos of their former teachers clutching well-deserved cocktails on faraway beaches and the bright red sale signs enticing customers in to prepare them for wedding and races season.
’Tis the time of year most beloved of fashion fans, and no one knows that better than up and coming milliner Michelle Kearns, from Tuam.
Michelle’s artistic background comes from way back. She showed talent from an early age, taking Art up to Leaving Cert level while developing a keen interest in photography, and following the exams studied Interior Architecture at Sligo IT.
