North Galway faces at Cabinet table

GALWAY East Independent Deputy Sean Canney is tipped to become a Junior Minister, a post he will share with Longford-Westmeath's Kevin 'Boxer' Moran.
However, what brief the position will cover hasn't yet been confirmed as Taoiseach Enda Kenny has only revealed the Senior Ministers of the new government.
Roscommon Galway Ind TD Denis Naughten has been appointed Minister for Communications and Natural Resources while Tuam native Deputy Finian McGrath has secured a 'Super' Junior Minister position which will allow him attend cabinet meetings and he will have special responsibility for disability.
Another face at the cabinet table with strong North Galway links is newly appointed Minister for Jobs and Enterprise, Mary Mitchell O'Connor. She is a native of Milltown and a former student of Presentation College, Currylea in Tuam.
