Carjack terror for sister and brother

MOUNTBELLEW sister and brother Kitty and Johnny McDermott are recovering from the terror of having their SUV comandeered when parked in the middle of the town and being driven 15 kilometres to a wooded area where they were dumped on a side road as the thief made off in their vehicle.
Widow Kitty, who does the driving for her two brothers from their home in Ballyderny, almost three miles from the town, has been forced to cycle to Mountbellew for their groceries since the carjacking last Thursday.
She was putting her groceries into the vehicle after doing the shopping in Cunningham’s Supermarket when the car thief struck and bundled her into the back of the SUV which was parked across the road near The Bridge Bar.
