Dunmore man turns Finland green with hurling on ice

A DUNMORE man was slightly shivering as he shook his shamrock this St Patrick’s Day and led a game of hurling on a frozen lake in Finland.
Oliver Hussey, a native of Ballymoney, Dunmore and son of John and Ann Hussey, was behind a 'greening’ of Tampere, a city in Southern Finland as part of the St Patrick’s Festival celebrations around the world.
Oliver has been living in Tampere since last July but he’s no stranger to the Scandinavian country as he spent ten years living there before moving to Dublin for a few years.
