Michael's poster is bottom line for election

ONE Galway East voter is trying to beat the candidates at their own game and has erected a certainly eye-catching election poster in his front garden.

Moylough's Michael Dempsey has had enough of the promises by many of the politicial parties and his 'bum poster' pretty much sums up his feelings on the government.

He told The Tuam Herald that he believes it's time for change and while he wouldn't divulge who he'd cast his number 1 for this time, he assured it certainly won't be FF, FG or Labour.

Michael says it took him 40 minutes to come up with the idea and that the poster does what marketing is supposed to do “it has attracted people's attention first and then they read the message”.

He also confirmed that the bum model isn't that of a local but said with a laugh that he felt it was “a very nice bottom”.
