Seeds of economic activity taking root in Headford

SOWING the seeds of enterprise has yielded impressive results in Headford, with the official launch of the town’s Hub taking place in the past week.
Over 14 months after the initiative was set up by a group of local business and community leaders, the Hub Headford has grown to serve a number of start-up companies in the area.
Cathaoirleach of Galway County Council, Cllr Peter Roche, officiated at the ceremony last Friday at the Hub’s offices in Moyne Villa Soccer Club. He hailed the 'fantastic vision’ of those involved in founding the initiative, which he said was a blueprint for other regions of the county.
