Dunmore campaigns for €1 million to calm traffic and boost town

AT a meeting in Dunmore on Monday night the large attendance, representing 25 voluntary and sports groups in the area, told the politicians present bluntly that the town needs €1 million by 2017 for traffic calming and town enhancement.
The meeting was called by Dunmore Development, an umbrella group for all the voluntary and sports organisations in the area.
They have already collected 922 signatories in a petition regarding this which is ongoing and the group expect will reach 1,500 in a matter of months.
