Rats on the run

A RAT-infested garden at a Tuam housing estate has led to concerns over public health and safety, with calls for the HSE and Galway County Council to take immediate action.
Residents in Parkmore Estate have complained of rats running through overflowing refuse bags thrown next to a shed at the rear of one property in the estate.
Evidence of raw sewage floating around in the back yard of the same house has also been reported to Galway County Council’s environmental services section, by those living nearby who are fearful for their and their families’ safety.
