Singing star cooks for Christmas

INGING star Derek Ryan will be off the road this Christmas as he takes time to spend with his parents and family, and in particular to cook the Christmas dinner for his mother, who is recovering from a heart by-pass.
But his single from last year with Sharon Shannon, Christmas Time Again (All Over Again) is being released by his record label while Derek takes a break from the almost endless touring and puts his knees up at home in Carlow 
“I will be going home to my folks. My mam is just recovering from an operation. She had a heart by-pass. It is all good, but it will take time. So we are all making sure we will be around for her – me, my brother, sister and my niece and nephew.
