Jobs on the rise

THE sweet smell of success permeates Glenamaddy this week as West Bake increases its workforce to over 100, getting ready to expand into biscuits in three weeks’ time.
The company supplied 90 million muffins to supermarkets such as Tesco, Lidl and Aldi in Ireland and the UK last year. Now it has secured a contract to supply Dunnes Stores with luxury butter cookies in a number of flavours — and they are gearing up to produce customised cookies for other stores as well.
