Bigger school bus set to solve annaghdown students dilemma

BUS Éireann have rowed back on a decision to revoke school transport for secondary school students in Annaghdown, and are providing a larger bus for children in the area for the new school year.
The students, who will return to Coláiste Bhaile Chláir next Wednesday, were facing uncertainty over school transport following a decision by the bus company to revoke their eligible bus tickets during the summer.
Angry parents addressed a public meeting in Cloonboo on Monday night where they voiced concerns over how they would get their children to and from the school in Claregalway.
