Gary Sice has a word with Armagh manager McGeeney after the game.

Galway are back on track

VICTORIES on the road are generally hard-earned in the All-Ireland SFC qualifiers and Sunday’s three-point win in Armagh certainly fell into that category for Galway.
Defeat would have raised question marks over what tangible progress has been made in year one of Kevin Walsh’s tenure but to go to the Athletic Grounds and take down Armagh, in front of their large home support, could well provide the launchpad for a summer run.
It wasn’t the perfect performance by any means but it was more than enough. Galway played with spirit and intensity and Damien Comer’s early second half goal proved the difference.
