Three villages voice anger at death trap bridge

Angry residents in three villages outside Glenamaddy want action before there is a fatal crash at a bridge which they claim was narrowed by the Co Council.
Now school buses and articulated lorries have to drive on the wrong side of the continuous white line to get past it.
Many accidents have happened at the bridge which is at a T-junction on the Glenamaddy to Ballymoe Road, a busy route for articulated lorries taking cattle to the Kepak factory in Athleague and timber from sawmills near Ballygar. It is beside the villages of Cornspeak, Classaroe and Ballinastack.
Last week a woman driver and her two children were hospitalised after their car went off the road at the bridge and it ended up overturned in the stream below.
