Leo launches suicide prevention app

THE daily message on the new Trust Talk 24/7 app for Monday was “Where there are choices to make, make sure you know you won’t regret your choice.”
Nobody at the launch of the app in Tuam on Monday could regret the choice made by its developer, Patrick Shaughnessy.
The app is aimed at young people who are feeling low, and can put them in contact with 24-hour counselling if they need it.
Saw Doctor Leo Moran has seen Patrick pass by his front door since he was in a stroller, and he was delighted to do the honours in front of parents, friends and sponsors.
