Connacht rugby team keep european challenge cup hopes alive

FROM nine points down at half-time, Connacht held their French hosts La Rochelle scoreless in the second half of this European Challenge Cup clash last Saturday evening, and the visitors went on to score a 10-point win that earns them a place in the Cup quarter-finals.
The game was played at the Stade Marcel-Deflandre in La Rochelle, a city in western France and capital of the Charente-Maritime department, with its seaport on the Bay of Biscay.
Connacht left it late to chase victory; they were 20-11 in arrears at the interval and 20-16 down with only six minutes left, but then they pounced for two tries, the first by flying wing Niyi Adeolokun and the second try by the in-form Matt Healy, playing on the other wing.
