Clonberne country

IN his native Clonberne he is Padraic Burke, and that is the name he used when making his first CD single a few years ago. But to his fans at dances around the country he is now best known by the stage name Jason Travers, and he has his debut album under his stage name released in time for the Christmas market both here and in the UK.
Jason created a stir on the music scene earlier this year with his single Carmelita which is arguably his most successful song to date and that is included on this 15 track CD. This debut album also sees the young singer, who formerly worked in O’Toole’s SuperValu, Tuam, diversify from his revival of the old hit for Johnny McEvoy back in the 60s The Boston Burglar to a track which is over six minutes long and is titled The Slosh Medley.
