Singing their hearts out to boost local resource centres

SINGING has filled the air of the Team Products training centre on Tuam’s outskirts for the past number of weeks where an enthusiastic group are rehearsing ahead of their CD launch next week.
The TEAM Cedar singers have recorded their own compilation of favourite songs in time for Christmas to help raise funds for the TEAM resource centre and Cedar Court training centre in Tuam – both of which are used by many of the service-users who feature on the CD.
The group of 13 have been practising under the guidance of Adult Literacy Resource Worker Geraldine Tuttle, who is based in the Tuam Adult Learning Centre and works a number of hours with Team. Her husband, well-known musician, Micheal has been helping out by providing the accompanying music.
It’s very obvious from the sneak preview The Tuam Herald were given of the performance how much everyone enjoys the experience. All of the group have beautiful voices and there are some wonderful solo performances on the CD.
