Dolores for concerts in galway and claremorris

Following the phenomenal success of a series of comeback concerts by Dolores Keane in Galway during the summer, she will be back on stage again in The Salthill Hotel for a post-Christmas concert on Saturday December 27.
Once again Dolores will be joined by a band of top musicians, and her special guest will be popular Galway-born but Headford-based singer and songwriter Don Stiffe.
Already tickets for the show have been selling fast and it is expected that, as with her shows in Salthill in summer, this one will also be a sell-out.
Tickets can be purchased locally from Quinn’s Newsagents, Tuam (26060), and in Galway from OMG Zhivago and from the Salthill Hotel.
Meanwhile, Dolores is one of the stars who will be appearing in the coming weeks at a concert in Claremorris to be televised on on Irish TV.
This Christmas TV show in Claremorris will be on Wednesday, December 3, and will be hosted by Henry McGlade.
It will feature a host of big-name artists who have featured on the initial series of Saturday night shows presented by Henry and screened on the Irish TV channel.
Apart from the Caherlistrane singer, the others on the show include Johnny McEvoy, Eleanor McEvoy, Susan McCann, Frank McCaffrey, John Hogan, Na Fianna, the Redmond School of Dancing and comedian Noel V Ginnity.
Joining Henry McGlade on stage will be a guest presenter, Michael Commins, who will interview veteran entertainers Gene Stuart and Sam O’Doherty.
Michael Fox will introduce three new performers who have already made a big impact on viewers of Irish TV, Ann Marie O’Riordan, Olwyn Murray and Ciaran Rosney.
Kevin Griffiths, producer of the Entertainment Ireland TV show and managing director of Frame Productions, says that they are delighted to be bringing their first-ever Christmas special from the stage of the newly refurbished Claremorris Town Hall.
“We at Frame are delighted with the line-up of talent for this show. It promises to be a real spectacular and builds on the success of the Saturday night programme hosted by Henry McGlade.
“The Christmas special will be one of the highlights of the festive schedule on the Irish TV channel, and the Claremorris audience will be part of a great celebration,” he added.
Tickets for the show are available at €20 each from Frame Productions at 094 9372901, and early booking is advisable.
