An Post to meet with Caherlistrance group on reinstating postal service

HOPES of reinstating a postal service in the Caherlistrane area need to be reinforced by the community, according to organisers of a public meeting in the area this week.
Caherlistrane-Kilcoona Community Council is holding its second public meeting on this issue tomorrow evening (Thursday), ahead of a meeting with representatives from An Post early next week.
Local people are concerned that the postal service, which was transferred to Headford following the closure of the local shop in the village in recent weeks, will not be reinstated once the shop reopens next week.
