Labour's Clement Shevlin eliminated in Athenry Oranmore

Sixth count

This has been the distribution of Fine Gael's Josette Farrell's vote who was eliminated after the fifth count.
FG Liam Carroll had hoped to benefit from a transfer boost but it appears voters kept it local and the biggest winners from her votes were FG Frank Kearney, based in Turloughmore and opposition party Fianna Fail's Malachy Noone, who received the highest number of transfers, +124, from Farrell.
Independent James Charity continues to pick up votes and either he or Malachy Noone will be the next elected.
Labour's Clement Shevlin has now been eliminated and if the vote remains local, both Charity and Noone will see jumps that could get them across the line.
