Galway women vie for Businesswoman of the Year

THREE Galway businesswomen will represent the county at the Network Ireland Businesswomen of the Year Awards. The women were all winners at the Network Galway Businesswomen of the Year Awards and will travel to the national event in Drogheda on Friday, September 28.[private] Mary Creaven Ludden, who has been running Cregal Art on Kingston Road in Galway since 1963, was the winner in the self-employed category. Mary is managing director of the wholesale and retail company, which is involved in art, crafts and framing products. Geraldine Currane, manager at Capone's Restaurant, won the employee category. Bernie Dempsey of BD Recruitment won the New Business Award.[/private]
