Tuam to rock in marquee

IN the heady days of the showbands, and earlier on during the Ceili band era, Tuam revellers frequently enjoyed entertainment in marquees at carnivals but it will be entertainment with a difference at the marquee in Tuam Corralea Hotel this weekend.[private] The music event started with a Traditional show this Wednesday night and the Traditional sounds will continue all during St Patrick's Day and night. On Friday the marquee will rock with the sounds of the Lady GaGa tribute band. It will still be rocking on Saturday night when a U2 tribute band take to the stage. On Sunday it will be a night of showband nostalgia when Crystal Swing provide the entertainment. There will also be live music in the hotel bar as usual on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.[/private]
