Join Kerry superstar Jacko for a ‘Dream' night-out!

KINGDOM â€Ëœlegend' Jack O'Shea will be the guest of honour at the Claregalway Hotel Gaelic football Dream Team Awards presentation banquet this Friday night, Nov. 26th.[private] Jacko's name is synonymous with Kerry football. In 1977, he made his senior debut with the Kingdom and embarked on what became one of the most illustrious careers in GAA history. A seven time senior All-Ireland winner and six times All-Star, O' Shea was a supreme exponent of the classic high-fielding midfield tradition. He was Texaco Footballer of the Year 1980, 1981 and again in 1984 and 1985 in the midst of Kerry's glory years. The Cahirciveen man continued playing with Kerry until 1992. He is currently a GAA columnist with The Sunday Times. Clubs from all over the county will be represented at the special event in The Claregalway Hotel on Friday night when Mr. O' Shea will present the winners with their awards. The 2010 Claregalway Hotel Dream Team is dominated by County champions Killererin and St James's with players from other clubs also represented. Paul Gill, Managing Director of The Claregalway Hotel, says: 'To have a legend like Jack O' Shea as our guest of honour in this our third year sponsoring the Galway Club Football Championships is indeed an honour.
