Fashion fundraiser back with a bang
A FUNDRAISING fashion show with a difference makes a welcome return to Tuam's social calendar on the night of October 28. The catwalk at the Ard Ri House Hotel will be graced by members of the Connacht Rugby team, and Tuam's local rugby team, for the glittering event which will raise funds for Tuam Mini Rugby and Tuam Ladies' Rugby team. Those attending the show will be treated to expert advice from a guest style-coach and make-up artist who will give personal tips on looking your best for Autumn-Winter 2010. There will also be an opportunity to see the sensational ATIR range of luxury shapewear, which is designed to make you look and feel fabulous. These wonder garments have taken the country by storm and have already features on RTE's hit fashion programme Off the Rails. The best of the season's fashions will be previewed with lovely ranges from local boutiques including Enjoi, Kiss, Lilly's, The Hidden Closet, Marco's, Caroline's Fashions, Scallywags, Fallon's Menswear, and Eamon Geraghty Menswear, Tuam. Footwear will come from Pat Lanes, Luke O'Briens and Shoo-B-Doo. A hugely successful part of the event is the Best Dressed Competition, which adds hugely to the excitement of the evening. The show is receiving huge support from local businesses and is the perfect time to get a little style inspiration and plan for the new fashion season. The show's comperes are Siobhan Holliman of The Tuam Herald and Declan Slattery. Tickets (€15) are available from Feely's Pharmacy, Leufer's Jewellers and Enjoi boutique. They will also be available on the night. The show begins at 8 pm, and the advice is to get there early.
