Milltown legends will be honoured

TWO long-serving stalwarts of Milltown GAA will be honoured at an Appreciation Night hosted by their club this weekend.

It will be a very special occasion, this Saturday, Aug 19, for the two guests of honour: Miko Feerick, whose magnificent playing career spanned three decades including a Galway JFC victory in 1961 and County Senior Championship medals in 1971 and '81, and John Blake who played for the club in all grades, with great loyalty and distinction, from the late 1960s up to the early 1990s.
Sheridan's Bar & Restaurant will be the venue for this eagerly awaited social event.
