Tri Lakes launch Time Trial Series

TRI LAKES Triathlon Club launched their 2017 Time Trial Series in Tuam last week with the five-race event getting underway in Caherlistrane next Wednesday evening (May 31).
Tri Lakes have been running the series since 2010 and this year's renewal, which was launched in Leaf and Bean Cafe in Tuam, will be followed by time trials over consecutive weeks in Kilconly, Headford, Claremorris and finally Tuam.
A Time Trial is an individual race against the clock. It is also known as ‘the race of truth’; there is nowhere to hide, no-one to draft off, just you, your bike, the clock and the beating of your heart.
