ALL ROADS lead to Salthill on Sunday as a highly enticing double header fell into place once the Galway hurlers were awarded home advantage for their National League quarter-final with Waterford earlier in the week.
With the footballers’ promotion prospects still in their own hands as Kildare travel west, a huge crowd is expected in Pearse Stadium for a rare treat for supporters of both codes.
The footballers must avoid their second loss of an encouraging campaign to seal their ascension to Division 1 after their latest victory over Down, otherwise they will be anxiously awaiting news from Ennis where third placed Meath take on Clare knowing that a win could see them leapfrog Kevin Walsh’s men if their Leinster counterparts do them a huge favour.
