Classy Crokes end Corofin's run

KEVIN O’Brien was magnanimous as he reflected on Corofin’s defeat to Dr Crokes in Saturday’s All-Ireland senior club semi-final at the Gaelic Grounds.
Buoyed by five first half points from elusive Kieran O’Leary and goals from youngsters Gavin O’Shea and Jordan Kiely, the Kerry kingpins led from pillar to post and in the process took a major step towards capturing a second-ever club title.
“I’ve said it all along that’s sport at this level,” reflected the Corofin manager on Crokes ability to build and protect their lead.
