GALWAY got out of jail. Even the flock of seagulls flying overhead afterwards down the Árus Bóthar na Trá end knew it.
Forty five minutes in, Cork introduced Colm O’Neill. Five points and 30 minutes later, the man who has recovered from three cruciate injuries stepped up to take a free with the chance to hand Cork a win that could have proved critical in the overall context of Division 2.
