Olive loughnane is helping kilconieron hurlers to climb their mountain

AS the song says ... Ain’t No Mountain High Enough for Kilconieron GAA Club to reach out and help people.
This fine club, steeped in hurling tradition and always enterprising in the promotion of the game for all age groups, has joined forces with the Cystic Fibrosis Galway Hospital Project for a joint sponsored climb of Croagh Patrick on Saturday week, August 30th, starting at 11.00 a.m.
CF Galway has worked tirelessly in recent years to improve facilities for children and adults with Cystic Fibrosis. The money raised will be used to improve facilities and resources at Galway University Hospital, including isolation en-suite facilities to reduce the risk of cross-infection.
It’s hoped that up to 500 people will climb 'the Reek,’ or Ireland’s Holy Mountain as it’s also called.
