Nurse Maura takes her leave after 27 years at Tuam’s Aras Mhuire

STAFF and residents at Aras Mhuire, Tuam’s Community Nursing Unit, gathered to mark the retirement of clinical nurse manager Maura Mullins after 27 years.
Maura, from Knocknagur, Tuam, bid farewell to her colleagues and patients last month at a special party to mark her retirement.
The mother of three who is a native of Bekan, Mayo, said she had always planned to take early retirement but when the day came it was a bittersweet occasion.
