RISING employment, traffic congestion and high rents have resulted in increased demand for bus services between Tuam and Galway.

Private bus company Burkes Buses are again adding extra services to their commuter routes which they say have become noticeably busier since last September.
An extra ten services are being rolled out this week and a further five or six services are expected to be added within the next six months.
Pat Burke told The Tuam Herald that the new services are to meet customer demand.
