Dunmore has all-weather bowling

DUNMORE'S newest sporting amenity was officially opened this week as the community gathered to celebrate the local Men's Shed's latest endeavour.

A new all-weather bowling green, located beside the Men's Shed centre at the old priest's house, attracted a large crowd on Tuesday morning as the sun shone on proceedings.
Sean Canney TD cut the ribbon to start the celebrations as people of all ages came to admire the new facility.
Men's Shed chairman Des Donelon thanked all those who had helped towards the project which he said would keep members active throughout the year.
