THERE are no plans to open the Tuam bypass ahead of schedule and November is still the date when the route, along with the motorway, will open to traffic.
The confirmation of this from the contractors working on the two routes this week will be a disappointment to public representatives, businesses and commuters who are eager to see the new 4km dual carriageway open.
