Greenway boost as FF leader doesn't foresee return of railway

PLANS to develop a greenway between Tuam and Athenry have been endorsed by Fianna Fail leader Micheál Martin.

During a visit to the region last week the Opposition leader described the project as a no brainer and said he couldn't envisage the return of railway services on the line, given the lack of a strong economic case to support this.
