Renovations are planned for Tuam hotel

Refurbishment project will mark hotel’s tenth year

THE owners of the Ard Rí House Hotel, Tuam, Tom and Sally McHugh, have announced they are planning major refurbishment to the hotel to mark the 10th anniversary of its opening early next year.

The McHughs are reinvesting in refurbishing the hotel and have already started this by having the exterior repainted in recent weeks. The kitchen area is to be increased in size, new furnishings to be provided to the bar and other internal areas. There will also be considerable upgrading of hotel grounds including new signage.
The Ard Rí currently has 51 bedrooms and the longer term plan is to increase this number to 75.
