Frank's Croagh Patrick adventure nets €3,500 for cancer charity

CORRANDULLA’S youngest mountaineer is celebrating his successful ascent of Croagh Patrick over the weekend, which has raised €3,500 for a charity named after one of his best friends.

Frank Killilea climbed the Reek with his parents John and Edel, along with big sister Isabel and a collection of family and friends on Sunday.

Frank, who turned seven on Monday, was a day younger than his close friend Gavin Glynn, who passed away in 2014 after a battle with a rare childhood cancer.
